The General Terms and Conditions of Online Sale govern the sales made by Kimberly Baker Inc. through kimberlybaker.com.. All Clients wishing to make a purchase from the website represent and warrant that they are not acting on a commercial basis, that they are not a minor and have full legal capacity or are authorized by a parent or guardian. The General terms and Conditions of Online Sale shall be applied when an order is placed. Therefore, the Customer should consult the General Terms and Conditions of Online Sale on a regular basis so the Customer is aware of the version applicable when placing orders.
The essential features of the Products offered for sale on kimberlybaker.com are described on the Products page. Some Products may be available in different colors. Due to the computer processing of images and in spite of the care taken in producing our Product pages, the colors of Products shown on the website may be slightly different from their actual color. The particular technical specifications and settings of your computer and its display could affect the accuracy of its display of the colors of products offered on the site.
Subject to their availability, Products offered for sale together with their prices shall be valid as long as they are accessible on kimberlybaker.com. If a Product becomes unavailable after placing the order, the Customer will receive immediate notification by email to the address provided for the order, and if the Customer credit card or debit card (the “Customer Card”) has been charged, a reverse authorization will be placed on the Customer Card. If by any chance the Customer Card is charged, the full amount charged will be reimbursed to the Customer Card used as payment no later than thirty (30) days from the date of payment. Please allow three (3) to six (6) business days for this transaction to post to the Customer Card and one (1) to two (2) billing cycles for it to be reflected on the Customer Card statement.
Accounts and Orders
The Customer may set up an account and become a “Registered Customer”, or can purchase products as a “Guest”. The Customer does not need an account in order to make a purchase from kimberlybaker.com. If the Customer chooses to register, the Customer can monitor the progress of the order, access the Customer’s order history, and utilize services reserved for Customer account holders for a faster checkout. The Customer must complete the fields on the form as this information is mandatory and necessary. The Customer agrees to provide full, accurate and up-to-date information and to change any details that become obsolete or incorrect at a later date. Any details or information that is offensive, illegal, incorrect, misrepresented, representing a public order offense or moral issues must not be used in the context of setting up an account. Once the account has been set up, and email will be sent to the email address provided by the Client.
We reserve the right at any time after receipt of the order to accept or decline the order, or any portion thereof, in our sole discretion, even after the Customer receives an order confirmation or after the Customer Card has been authorized. If the Customer Card has already been authorized for the purchase and the order is canceled, Kimberly Baker will issue a credit to the Customer Card. Kimberlybaker.com accepts MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®, and Discover® as methods of payment thru the processor paypal. The transaction will be charged to the Customer Card only after verifying the Customer Card details, receiving credit authorization on the Customer Card, and confirmation.
As indicated at the time of purchase and by the order confirmation email, the Customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs associated with the delivery as indicated at the time of purchase. Flat rate shipping fees apply. The Customer shall select the shipping method when placing the order. Once the order is placed, the Customer will not be allowed to change the shipping method or address with out contacting Kimberly Baker Studios.

Priority USPS 1-3 business days $15.00 ($20.00 over 5lbs)
Express USPS overnight $25.00 ( $40 over 5lbs)
All domestic packages are shipped USPS Priority , insured for the value of the product and require a signature at time of delivery.
Place of Delivery
Subject to receipt by Kimberly Baker of the full payment, deliveries shall be made to the address provided the time of placement of an order. The Customer shall be responsible for checking the accuracy of this information prior to final confirmation of the order (in particular names, address, number, postal code, etc.). Kimberly Baker shall not be responsible for any mistake by the Customer in the information provided at the time of the order confirmation.
If information relating to recipients is incorrect, Kimberly Baker may not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver an order. Kimberly baker jewelry cannot be held liable for packages that are lost in transit.
Unless indicated otherwise after the final confirmation of order, the delivery period for Products ordered from kimberlybaker.com include one (1) to two (3) business days to process the order for shipment, in addition to the time indicated by the Client’s preferred shipping method. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Kimberlybaker.com is not responsible for unanticipated delays due to conditions such as weather or air travel delays.
Receipt of Products
If Product(s) purchased on kimberlybaker.com is received damaged, the Customer must notify email@example.com within two business days and provide detailed information regarding the defects of said product. Please keep the original product packaging in the condition in which it was received . Client Services will then begin investigation with USPS. Please note that this process generally takes between eight (8) and ten (10) business days.
Retention of Ownership and Transfer of Risks
Kimberly Baker shall retain full ownership of the Products ordered until payment has been received in full. Once the Product is shipped risks of loss or damage to said Products and any damage that may occur shall be transferred to the Customer.
We are happy to replace an item for exchange only within seven (7) days from the date of delivery. All products must be in their original condition, and packaging and accompanied by the pertinent sales receipt. Kimberly Baker will not accept merchandise that has been worn, used, altered or damaged. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a return authorization number. Items returned without an return authorization number will be refused by our shipping department, and rerouted back to you.
If you feel the merchandise you received is defective, please contact email@example.com for a replacement. If a replacement is not available and the merchandise is deemed defective a full refund will be issued.
Exchanges will be processed within seven (7) business days of receipt. Please note that shipping charges for any returned item(s) are the Client’s responsibility at the point of refund unless said item is considered defective .
Any item’s sold as on sale items or as a custom order are a FINAL SALE .
Kimberly Baker offers repair service for merchandise purchased thru kimberlybaker.com. for six months after your purchase date. The original sales receipt is required for all repairs. For products purchased through kimberlybaker.com, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with images and a detailed description of the damage.
Any repair questions for items over the six month purchase date deadline, please email us explaining your issue and we will let you know if we can repair it for you and the cost for the repair.
Personal data shall be collected by Kimberly Baker Inc. on the kimberlybaker.com website with a goal of allowing the Client to set up an account and/or to purchase Products from kimberlybaker.com.

Q: What are the differences between gold-plated, gold vermeil, and gold-filled?
A: Sterling Silver is a mixture of pure silver and some other metal, usually copper. The resulting alloy gives the silver strength. The standard is at least 92.5% silver. Hence the .925 stamp you see on some sterling silver items.
Vermeil (Pronounced: Vermay) is sterling silver that has been gold-plated with 100 mico inches on top of a sterling silver base. Most of our vermeil is plated with 10Kt-18Kt gold. Vermeil wears off over time it does not chip or flake off . Vermeil will stay gold in color for many years if cared for properly.
Gold filled : also called rolled-gold. These jewelry items are not actually filled with gold. They are made of a base metal (usually brass or copper) covered by sheets of gold in a mechanical bonding process. Effectively a thick coat of gold: the gold content is 5% or 1/20 of the total weight. Usually made with 14k gold, it is hard wearing. With reasonable care it will not peel or flake, and should last as long as solid 14k gold jewelry. It is safe for most people with sensitive skin
Q: How do I care for my jewelry?
A: Your jewelry is hand finished and therefore can be delicate in nature. Please treat it with care to improve it’s longevity. Perfumes, lotions, hairspray, and oils will eat away metals. Always put your jewelry on after you have applied any cosmetics.
Do not wear your jewelry in salt water, hot -tubs, hot spring or steam baths.
Sterling silver is best cleaned with a cleaning cloth from your local jeweler.
Plated jewelry is best cleaned by a simply wiping it off with a damp towel and a little soap. Do not dip plated jewelry into a jewelry cleaning solution.
Metals tarnish quickly when left out and exposed to air, please place your jewelry in a box with a lid to limit the exposure to the elements.
Delicate chains are best hung so they do not tangle.
